UMBRIA AND AUTUMN COLORS IN A WEEK END GUIDED

€350 per person

COD. 210 / From Trasimeno to Montefalco, among olive groves and vineyards

An ideal proposal for those who have a few days available but want to enjoy the atmosphere and the colors of autumn in Umbria. It starts from the enchanting scenery of Lake Trasimeno, to reach in two days of pedaling Montefalco, famous for its vineyards, which in autumn are colored with a unique red. Along the way you will cross the hills of the Umbrian countryside, touching typical villages such as Solomeo, Torgiano, Bettona and Bevagna, before arriving in Montefalco.

The itinerary develops in the Umbrian countryside, characterized by its continuous and light hills. From the suggestive scenery of Lake Trasimeno, we pass to the cultivated fields and then we arrive in the area of Bevagna and Montelfaco, famous for its fine Sagrantino wine.

There are no climbs or special difficulties, but continuous ups and downs. The only “real” climb of the two days is the one that leads up to Montefalco, which however is regular and not steep. However, before leaving, we always advise to train for a short period, so as to get used to being in the saddle for a few hours. Alternatively, you can take advantage of ebike rental.
