COD. 20 / In the heart of green Umbria

An ideal proposal for those who want to discover the beauties of the heart of Umbria but have a few days available. A journey along the Assisi-Spoleto cycle path, which in 2015 together with Spoleto-Norcia was named the most beautiful green road in Italy. What makes this cycling route special is the wealth of natural, cultural and artistic beauties that you can visit in a few kilometers. After the departure from Assisi, city of San Francesco, you will touch Cannara, Bevagna, the sources of Clitunno before reaching Spoleto, one of the most beautiful art cities of the region.

The route follows the Assisi-Spoleto cycle path, a very easy path that in the first part develops along secondary roads with very low traffic, while in the second one uses a cycle track completely in its own, therefore ideal also for beginners and families with children. The route is completely flat and in total 55 kilometers, which we offer you divided into two stages, easy and fascinating There are no climbs or special difficulties, so it is a holiday suitable even for beginners. However, before leaving, we always recommend training for a short period of time, so as to get used to being in the saddle for a few hours.
