Itinerario
Day One: Welcome to Giano dell'Umbria
Starting from the village of Giano dell’Umbria, a fortified center that since the 12th century was part of the Duchy of Spoleto and where, not far away, stands the Abbey of San Felice, a masterpiece of the Romanesque period. Accommodation and overnight stay.
Second day: A day of cycling through nature and history
The day will be dedicated to a walk or e-bike ride along the Olive Belt between Spoleto and Trevi. The trail starts in Spoleto, following the first stretch of the old Spoleto-Norcia railway, passing through small villages, true wonders hidden by time, such as Eggi, Bazzano, and Poreta, before arriving in Trevi, known as one of the capitals of extra virgin olive oil and black celery. A stop at an olive oil mill for an oil tasting and a light snack will be provided. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Sunday: Discovering the Sources of the Clitunno River
After breakfast and before returning to your destination, you will make a stop at the Clitunno Springs described by Goethe on his journey to Italy.
